A Different Way to Start the Year

A new year has a habit of showing up with a megaphone. Fresh starts. Big plans. Someone else’s idea of success, shouted loudly and early.  We’re doing something else.

This workshop chooses a different vibe.

We start with curiosity rather than pressure. You get room to land, to notice what the last year shaped, and to decide what actually feels worth building next. From there, planning becomes lighter, clearer, and far more you.

Bring your whole self. Your quirks. Your half-formed ideas. Your side-eye at traditional planning. This space meets you where you are and supports you to move forward in a way that feels energising and genuinely satisfying.

How Will This Work?

01

Make sense of last year

You do not need to do everything. You get to choose what counts.

Before rushing ahead, we pause for a moment and look back with curiosity rather than critique.

Last year probably included effort, stretch, surprises, and a few moments that felt harder than expected. It may also have included growth you barely clocked at the time. This part of the workshop helps you gather those threads and see the bigger picture they form.

We explore what supported you, what cost you energy, and what quietly mattered more than it first appeared. Think of it as a friendly debrief with yourself, minus the performance review energy and awkward clipboard.

This reflection creates clarity. Patterns start to make sense. Decisions feel easier. The year ahead begins to take shape from lived experience rather than wishful thinking.

02

Choose what matters TO YOU this year

Turns out, your inner voice has been making sense all along!

Once the volume from everyone else’s opinions drops, a clearer question comes into focus: what actually deserves your time and energy this year?

This section helps you turn down the outside noise and tune back into yourself. We explore what pulls you forward, what steadies you, and what feels genuinely worth investing in. Values, priorities, and capacity all get space, without turning into a dramatic life overhaul.

As clarity grows, something interesting happens. Fewer competing priorities. More confidence in your choices. Success starts to feel defined by fit and alignment rather than effort and endurance.

This is where the year begins to feel recognisably yours.

03

Planning Without Pressure

Let’s address the elephant in the room.

The word planning can trigger a full-body shudder reaction for many neurodivergent adults. Spreadsheets. Rigid five-step frameworks. A sudden urge to hide in a cave.

Planning does't have to make you want to fake a Wi-Fi outage.

Here, planning means something far more human.

In this workshop, planning becomes about direction that works in real life. Plans that respect your energy, flex with your capacity, and evolve as the year unfolds.

We focus on a small number of meaningful anchors. Clear priorities that feel doable. Structure that supports you while leaving room for life to happen.

This is unapologetic planning. You define success. You choose the pace. You shape ways of working that support your version of a good year.

04

Leave with Something Solid

Clear direction. Real momentum.

YOUR way forward.

By the end of this workshop, the year ahead feels steadier, clearer, and far more exciting to be in control of.

You leave with a sense of direction that feels grounded. A set of priorities that genuinely matter. A way of planning that feels alive, flexible, and supportive in everyday life. The kind of clarity that stays with you after the Zoom window closes and real life resumes.

This is about integration. Taking forward what you have uncovered and shaping it into something you can actually use. You will have language for what success looks like for YOU, permission to move at YOUR pace, and confidence YOUR choices.

The goal is simple and powerful: to move forward feeling like YOU are steering your year with plans that support you and space to adapt as life unfolds.

This is YOUR year.
